Boltz Wrestling Club runs three structured training seasons. All groups follow the same system theme, scaled to their age and experience so every wrestler hears the same language and learns the same core principles.
Our Yearly Training Cycle
1. Folkstyle Preseason Program (September–October)
Short description:
- Technique tune‑up
- Rebuild fundamentals
- Prepare for the season
Ages:
- 4–9 (60 min practices)
- 10–14 (90 min practices)
2. Folkstyle Regular Season Program (November–February)
Short description:
- Core youth wrestling season
- Full offensive + defensive systems
- Competition readiness
Ages:
- 4–9 (60 min practices)
- 10–14 (90 min practices)
3. Freestyle/Greco Program (March–May)
Short description:
- Olympic styles
- Advanced skills
- Builds dynamic scoring & mat IQ
Eligibility:
Experienced wrestlers only (min. one season of Folkstyle or FS/GR)
Ages:
- 8U-USA Junior (90 min practices)
- 8U = athlete turning 8 during the calendar year
- USA Junior = athlete must be in high school
