Who It’s For
4–9 year olds
→ 60‑minute practices
10–14 year olds (not in high school)
→ 90‑minute practices
Purpose of Preseason
Rebuild stance, motion, and fundamental habits
Prepare new wrestlers for their first season
Re‑establish structure and consistency after summer
Introduce or reinforce the Boltz System and weekly themes
What We Train
Stance → motion → level changes
Hand fighting basics
Inside control & pressure principles
Safe partnering
Age‑appropriate conditioning
How We Coach
Short, clear cues
Demonstration-first
Fast, high‑rep partner drills
Low‑risk, position‑based live wrestling
Practice Length
4–9 years:
60 minutes
10–14 years:
90 minutes
